RealHoods is a web tool for our client Re/Max Escarpment that helps inform potential new Hamiltonians that they can easily live their existing lifestyle here. Targeted at the rest of the GTA, it aims to educate based on price point, lifestyle attributes and similar Toronto neighbourhoods to give a fully rounded picture of what each neighbourhood has to offer.
I was involved to lead web design and UX efforts while naming and branding was executed by other members of the team.
The filtering feature allows users to get to relevant content quickly and stays in the navigation for the user's session. With cookies, we can keep the last filtered state active so when a user returns to the site, their selections are still active.
While the tool helps potential buyers discover information about Hamilton neighbourhoods and lifestyle, it also helps connect Re/Max Agents directly with interested buyers, encouraging users to get in touch or view their RealIntro profile, another one of Re/Max's suite of digital products that Parallel created. Through Google Tag Manager integration, we are able to observe key conversions and send a report to Re/Max Agents to help them understand if they need to improve their content to attract more clients.
While we are not engaging in marketing efforts, we wanted to make sure the site was easily sharable as well as helpful, in order to grow Re/Max Escarpment's local impact by increasing positive exposure to their products and brand.
